THRIVE
What is keeping us from thriving? Foster Gamble, producer of THRIVE, says, “After a lifetime journey of pursuing that question, my research revealed that a small group of financial elites have gained control over all the areas of our lives C energy, food, health care, education and more C and are the single greatest deterrent to humanity?s ability to thrive. By getting a clearer picture of the hidden economic incentives that are driving this unseen robbery, we can create more effective solutions to the problems facing humanity.”
THRIVE is an unconventional documentary that lifts the veil on what is really going on in our world by following the money upstream C uncovering the global consolidation of power in nearly every aspect of our lives. Weaving together breakthroughs in science, consciousness and activism, THRIVE offers real solutions, empowering us with unprecedented and bold strategies for reclaiming our lives and our future.
THRIVE offers a way for all of us to become involved and empowered in the solutions to the problems we face. (Run time: 132 min)

2012: Time For Change
The Mayans saw 2012 as the end of a great cycle. When one cycle finishes, a new one begins. This documentary combines live film footage and beautiful animation that presents an optimistic alternative to apocalyptic doom and gloom.
Directed by Emmy Award nominee João Amorim, the film follows journalist Daniel Pinchbeck, author of the bestselling book “2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl” on a quest for a new paradigm that integrates the archaic wisdom of tribal cultures with the scientific method. As conscious agents of evolution, we can redesign post-industrial society on ecological principles to make a world that works for all. Rather than breakdown and barbarism, 2012 heralds the birth of a regenerative planetary culture where collaboration replaces competition, where exploration of psyche and spirit becomes the new cutting edge, replacing the sterile materialism that has pushed our world to the brink.
We can’t hope to make the world a better place unless we start within, learning to nurture our own soul and spirit. Among other objectives, “2012: Time for Change” wants you to look at your world differently, and to participate in a conscious movement toward personal and social transformation. (Run time: 85 min)

Are you in sync with your iPod, iPhone and iPad? How about your heart?
Making lists of things you need to do? Have you made one of who you want to be?
Courage & Renewal®, created by Parker Palmer (http://www.couragerenewal.org/), offers a unique opportunity for individuals to reflect and grow. Skilled facilitators create a quiet, focused, and disciplined space—a Circle of Trust—in which the noise within us and around us can subside so that we can hear our own inner voice. We believe that meaningful change comes from within; we focus on an inner journey to renew heart, mind, and spirit.
In large group, small group, and solitary practices, we explore the intersections of our personal and professional lives, sharing stories from our own journeys as well as insights from poets, storytellers, musicians, artists, and various wisdom traditions. These experiences help us reconnect identity and integrity, renewing ourselves, and often our careers, from the inside out. The principles that guide us include:
- Everyone has an inner teacher
- A “hidden wholeness” underlies our lives
- Inner work requires solitude and community
- Our lives move in cycles like the seasons
- An appreciation of how paradox enriches our lives
- The need to hold important questions without needing to find “the answer”
We invite you to join David Sadker and Brian Arthur, facilitators prepared by the Center for Courage and Renewal®. Contact 520-297-2319 or dsadker@gmail.com for more information.
