Cassandra Vieten was very recently named 7th CEO and President of The Institute of Noetic Sciences in Petaluma, California. We congratulate her and are delighted she can join us for this discussion about “noetic research”. The Institute studies topics rarely explored rigorously by mainstream scientists. Dr. Vieten argues that there are no unscientific topics, only unscientific methods. She will speak about the latest research IONS is conducting, and explore the challenges and opportunities involved in these efforts. Cassi will also speak to the new directions for IONS as The Institute celebrates its first 40 years.
Cassandra Vieten is a leader of a new generation of “noetic scientists”, having been most recently IONS’s Executive Director of Research. She is a licensed clinical psychologist; has served as co-director of the Mind-Body Medicine Research Group at California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute, San Francisco; and co-president of the Institute of Spirituality and Psychology. Her primary interest is in exploring how psychology, biology, and spirituality interact to affect experience and behavior. Cassi is co-author of Living Deeply: The Art and Science of Transformation in Everyday Life and author of Mindful Motherhood: Practical Tools for Staying Sane During Pregnancy and Your Child’s First Year.

VortexHealing® is an experiential healing art and awakening path but the goal of VortexHealing is also much larger than this. It is designed to create enough inner space and enough self-awareness that we can begin to awaken out of our conditioned web of reality to the freedom and Oneness that is our true nature. Although the tools of VortexHealing are designed to generate physical and emotional health, on a deeper level they are designed to facilitate the deepest movement of healing that is possible. Join us as Gailynn Carroll provides a brief overview of VortexHealing. The program will include a group healing using the energetics of the VortexHealing and a demonstration of VortexHealing on the sound of a voice or instrument.
Gailynn Carroll is one of six international VortexHealing teachers and has a special connection with angelic consciousness. She holds a PhD in Public Administration with an emphasis in community development, an MA in Contemporary Literature, and a BA in English.
A VortexHealing® Basic Training class will be held in Tucson, July 9-13, 2013.
